Amelia's written work has appeared on both local and national levels. She contributes to the Chicago Tribune's Good Eating section as well as Metromix, a daily print tabloid and website published by the Chicago Tribune. Amelia is also the dining writer for Chicago Life magazine, a supplemental insert to the New York Times Sunday paper distributed throughout the Chicago area, and she is a contributing writer for Edible Chicago magazine, which focuses on locally-sourced foods, farmers, and sustainability topics.

In addition, Amelia regularly contributes food and dining articles to websites and such as Citysearch, and she has written for Daily Candy, and julib.com, both e-newsletters.
