Amelia's written work has appeared on both local and national levels.  She contributes to the Chicago Tribune's Good Eating section as well as Metromix, a daily print tabloid and website published by the Chicago Tribune.  Amelia is also the dining writer for Chicago Life magazine, a supplemental insert to the New York Times Sunday paper distributed throughout the Chicago area, and she is a contributing writer for Edible Chicago magazine, which focuses on locally-sourced foods, farmers, and sustainability topics.

 

In addition, Amelia regularly contributes food and dining articles to websites and such as Citysearch, and she has written for Daily Candy, and julib.com, both e-newsletters.  She has also contributed to Chicagoist, a blog covering local politics, culture and the arts published by Gothamist LLC as well as Windy City Sports, DiningOut, and Health magazine. 

 

Amelia is also senior editor of Foodservice Equipment & Supplies, a trade magazine published by Reed Business Information outside of Chicago, and sister publication to Restaurants & InstitutionsChain Leader and HOTELS magazines.  She covers the commercial cooking equipment & supply chain, which includes equipment manufacturers and dealers as well as kitchen designers, consultants, and all foodservice operators including restaurants, hotels, schools and others.  Her work appears in the form of news and feature articles, weekly and monthly e-newsletters, web-exclusive content, and other material.  In addition, she manages the publication's website.
